WHO WE ARE
Mazô Maná arrives to nourish the world with the knowledge and abundance of the Amazon Forest. We form a diverse team that sees forest conservation as an essential condition for maintaining the climate and life on the planet.
Our commitment to the forest begins with the choice of our headquarters in Altamira, a municipality west of Pará, a key region due to its geographical and historical importance in socio-environmental issues, and goes on to dedicate 10% of the company's shareholding to the traditional peoples of the forest. PURPOSE
Mazô Maná was born to nourish the world with the abundance and wisdom of the Amazon Forest. A startup with socio-environmental impact that promotes an innovative model of sustainable development led by traditional communities and indigenous peoples of Brazil.
Its main objective is to develop and produce natural and healthy foods, combining multiple Amazonian ingredients and creating a mix of products with high added value. A brand that sells nutrition for the health of people and the planet.
NETWORK PERFORMANCE
Operating in a network – with traditional peoples, family farmers, NGOs and institutes –, Mazô Maná's basic principle is to recognize the socio-environmental services provided by the people of the forest, thus seeking mechanisms to value these services. This fact is due to the prioritization of the standing forest and its people in order to create an economy of socio-environmental diversity and care that stops deforestation and produces more forest, life and culture.
