With versatile uses, Supershake can be drunk alone (mixed with water) or added to recipes to create different and healthy options. Some of our partners, such as advisors Bela Gil and Alex Atala, have been working on developing special recipes, which we will share soon!
Throughout this post, you will learn the main details about the product and its formula.
Mazô Maná's first product combines essential nutritional properties for the proper functioning of the body. It is rich in proteins, dietary fiber, selenium, magnesium and vitamin C.
It is also considered a source of iron and manganese, in addition to presenting bioactive compounds in its composition, as it uses foods that are rich in carotenoids and polyphenols, such as açaí, cocoa, camu-camu, cajá and murici. More than creating a product with ingredients common in the Forest, Mazô Maná worked to create a model that would enable economic development for the region in a logic that combats harmful systems, such as deforestation and monoculture.
To achieve this, we have made the decision to always purchase the ingredients that make up our product as directly as possible from the communities that produce them. To fulfill this mission, we have partnerships with important groups, such as the Rede de Cantinas da Terra do Meio, which brings together 42 cantinas and 8 mini-factories in the region and sells products under the Vem do Xingu brand; 100% Amazônia, which works with us to develop the açaí powder chain in the Xingu region; COOPAVAM (Cooperativa dos Agricultores do Vale do Amanhecer), which brings together seven distinct indigenous ethnic groups (among them Munducuru, Apyakas and Cinta Larga) to collect nuts; and SAFTA (Sistema Agroflorestal de Tomé-Açu), which has been working since the early 1870s to combine agricultural, fruit and forest crops in an agroforestry production system inspired by the experiences of riverside peoples.
